Since
2006, curriculum changes from the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) to the
Education Unit Level Curriculum (SBC). In the SBC, teachers are required to
develop a learning device in accordance with the conditions of the local
school. This research aims to develop devices based learning Contextual
Teaching and Learning (CTL) for Materials Acids, Bases, Salts in Junior High
School Class VII valid, and practical
This
research is research development using 4-P model that is defining, designing,
development, and deployment. Data collection was done with validation and
testing of learning tool that was developed. The design of learning tools that
have been designed and validated by 3 people and 2 experts and practitioners in
limited trials in two classes namely class VII.2 SMP 15 Padang and VII.2 class
SMP 34 Padang, to identify practical and valid values developed
.
And
the results of research conducted shows that the learning-based Contextual
Teaching and Learning (CTL) for the Heat Content in Secondary School Class VII
includes Plan of Implementation of Learning, Teaching Material and student
activity sheets (LKS) is in the category is valid with the level of validity
92, 52%. Value based on questionnaire responses practicality students after
using this learning tool is positive or good responses with a value of 85% and
the value the practicality of learning based on teacher observation of 4.36
with a good scale.
